Local Real Estate Company is seeking a Bookkeeper! Full time position, starting pay $20-21/hr.

Set up bank accounts at various banking institutions; work in conjunction with banking

institutions to solve issues and manage accounts.

− Monitor cash balances; generate cash flow statements as needed to adequately review and

maintain cash balances.

− Set up vendors in software; obtain W-9's.

− Code and input vendor invoices in software; generate checks.

− Ensure mortgage payments, property taxes and insurance are paid timely.

− Monitor mortgage escrow accounts and prepare and submit reimbursement requests as

necessary.

− Prepare required financial reports for lenders as required.

− Process monthly owner draws and wire transfers.

− Post monthly charges and generate tenant rent statements.

− Generate and track tenant billing; enter charges for utilities, sub-meters, bill backs, real

estate taxes, insurance, special billings, etc.

− Analyze tenant ledgers and A/R's; send correspondence as necessary to correct payments.

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper in ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing financial records and transactions, including processing invoices, maintaining cash balances, preparing financial reports, and reconciling bank accounts. This role is integral to the efficient operation of our financial department.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage bank accounts at various institutions, addressing any arising issues

• Monitor cash balances and generate cash flow statements as needed

• Establish vendors in the software system and obtain necessary documentation such as W-9s

• Code and input vendor invoices in software and generate checks

• Ensure timely payments of mortgage payments, property taxes, and insurance

• Monitor mortgage escrow accounts, preparing and submitting reimbursement requests as necessary

• Prepare required financial reports for lenders

• Process monthly owner draws and wire transfers

• Post monthly charges and generate tenant rent statements

• Generate and track tenant billing, entering charges for utilities, sub-meters, bill backs, real estate taxes, insurance, special billings, and others

• Analyze tenant ledgers and Accounts Receivable, sending correspondence as necessary to correct payments

• Process bank deposits and enter receipts in software

• Book journal entries as needed, reviewing the general ledger monthly and adjusting as necessary in preparation for month-end reporting

• Prepare monthly reports, including both cash and accrual basis financial statements

• Assist with the preparation of annual property budgets and CAM reconciliations

• Coordinate to provide annual reports to CPAs for tax reporting

Requirements • Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis

• Ability to Enter Invoices accurately

• Experience in Check Processing

• Understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Ability to generate accurate Financial Reports

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Bank Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Cash Reconciliations

• Proficiency in Credit Card Reconciliation

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
