Job Summary Assigned to a CNC machine: Maintains a high level of productivity and safety awareness while working as part of a crew to fill Customer orders. Job Responsibilities Operation of a CNC Plasma, Oxy fuel burning machine or CNC milling machine Ensures that the machine is in proper running condition and the machine and torches are square before operation of machine Reads the order and matches order to material before burning material Verify that the test report is correct for the material being processed Does a test run to ensure program is running properly Does a first article inspection to verify part is correct to program and order Documents all pertinent information on shop order Stamps or marks parts to order information Loads program(s) into computer Cuts scrap for easy off load from machine Keeps machine and work area clean and orderly Qualifications High School diploma or GED Or one to 3 months related experience and/or training Or equivalent combination of education and experience
