VCA Adams Animal Hospital, located in the beautiful North Quabbin area of Athol, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our awesome team.

The ideal candidate will be a Certified Veterinary Technician with two or more years of general practice experience, though unlicensed technicians with similar experience are also encouraged to apply. Our team is progressive and focused on delivering the best quality veterinary medicine, client education and customer service.

We are a busy, growing small animal practice that offers routine and urgent care, surgical and dental procedures, digital radiographs and ultrasound services. Our technicians are well utilized, organized, and proud to practice low stress handling.

Applicants should have experience in the following areas: safe handling of canine and feline patients, venipuncture, pharmacy duties, lab work, radiology, monitoring of hospitalized patients, induction/maintaining anesthetized patients, dental prophylaxis, client education, and general receptionist duties.

Applicants should also desire to be part of our team including participating in our fun staff outings, gatherings, and our community service projects.
