Description

We are seeking a Contract Help Desk Professional to reinforce our client's IT department's service line. If you have strong problem-solving skills and a sharp focus on customer satisfaction, we invite you to apply! The Help Desk Professional will be the first response point for company-wide technical issues. In this role, you'll provide technical advice and troubleshooting services for a wide range of software and hardware systems.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to IT service requests and inquiries via phone, email, web, and in-person.

• Diagnosing and resolving technical software and hardware issues.

• Walking customers through problem-solving processes in an easy-to-understand manner.

• Tracking, prioritizing, and documenting customer requests and maintaining a history of resolved issues.

• Following standard Help Desk operating procedures and updating them as necessary.

• Identifying opportunities for process, operational, and technology improvements.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field is preferred.

• Prior experience working in a help desk or IT customer service role.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong ability to diagnose hardware and software issues and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Familiarity with tools, applications, and help desk software.

• Strong customer service-oriented mindset and the ability to relate technical information to non-technical users.
