Hilton Night Guest Service Agent in Karaka, New Zealand

Join our amazing Front Office Team at DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka in South Auckland. We are looking for a Night Guest Service Agent who will be part of our Front Office night team supporting guest requirements and our administration.

As a Night Guest Service Agent, you will review financial reports, investigate anomalies, reporting any discrepancies to the Front Office Manager, Night Manager and Finance team. You will also review daily revenues against guest receipts and reports and investigates any anomalies. This role also includes hotel reception duties, including guest service, check-in/out of guest and assisting with guest enquiries. Specifically, the role will include:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and check them in/out of the hotel, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
  • Balance daily revenue and expense transactions, including cashier’s checks, credit cards, debit cards, and other forms of payment
  • Assist with night audit duties, such as reconciling accounts receivable, posting charges, and verifying accuracy of billing information
  • Assist the manager on duty in emergency situations

  • Previous experience in a customer service role. Hotel or accounting experience will be highly regarded.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Pride in ensuring the accuracy of work and actively encourages the same standard from Team Members
  • Computer literate, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Able to work on a rotating roster
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure
  • Well-presented, organised and calm personality
