Software Engineer (contractor)

Description

Perform software development as an experienced ABAP Developer with deep expertise in FICO and Project systems modules, design and build robust technical solutions in SAP landscape with HANA database. In this role the resource will be expected to fully understand FICO Principles and apply them to configure and code; support of unique requirements and user experience using FIORI. They will participate in day to day operations, which is an extension of the agile team in place that incorporates Financial Accounting and Labor Accounting.

Basic Requirements and Years of Experience

Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. 8-10 years

Knowledge and skill of SAPUI5, Odata, User-exit, BAPI, IDOC, Open SQL, CDS views, ABAP objects 3-5 years Experience of working with MM, QM, PP, FI, CO, HR. PS and SD modules. 8-10 years

Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. 2 years

Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. 2 years

Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program 3 years Development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. 3 years

Ability to perform data analysis across multiple large SAP systems. 3 years Effective communications skills (verbal and written) 3 years Motivated, customer-focused, energetic self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment 3 years

Ability to collaborate across business and IT 3 years Experience communicating technical information to a non-technical audience 3 years Demonstrated ability to team across organizational boundaries and geographical locations to collaborate with and influence others 3 years

Experience with accomplishing strategic objectives, clearly communicating ideas, delivering instructions, and following through on actions 3 years Strong, well rounded knowledge of SAP full life cycle implementations and SAP concepts / capabilities 3 years

Knowledgeable in Cloud Technologies

Experience in A&D industry

Experience with Fiori, SAPUI5, OData

Experience in JavaScript, Python

Experience with S4 HANA

Experience in JIRA and confluence

Knowledge of GPD (Grouping, Pegging and Distribution)

Tricentis and test automation tools
