ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Customer Experience (CX) & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Lead will optimize the Audible customer experience and drive growth on Amazon's retail websites and apps across the globe. This crucial, global role will be responsible for developing the CRO strategy for Audible across the US & Canada, Europe, APAC, and Latin America. The CX & CRO Lead will work in collaboration with local marketing teams, analyze customer data, and identify and test solutions to improve customer conversion. They will also have hands-on involvement in planning and setting up A/B tests using Amazon tools, influencing various teams and levels of leadership within Amazon and Audible. The CX & CRO Lead will be responsible for improving campaign efficiency, testing new ideas, and influencing the product roadmap.

ABOUT YOU

You are analytical, data-driven, and well-versed in CRO principles. Life inspires your work. You look to customers and the world around you to seek insight, get inspired, and strive for more. You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in designing and executing optimization tests for a digital or B2C company. You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to build relationships within and across businesses. You are an excellent communicator and effective presenter of strategies and plans to leaders and peers across different functions. You are self-starting, data-driven, and able to navigate from large datasets to the granular detail of on-site and in-app CX.

As a CX & CRO Lead, you will...

  • Lead the global CRO strategy for Audible on Amazon

  • Leverage data-driven insights, user research, and best practices to optimize Audible conversion rates across Amazon

  • Design and execute a roadmap of optimization tests, utilizing product and personalization initiatives to continuously improve conversion metrics

  • Ensure a cohesive and consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align messaging, visual identity, and UX principles, fostering a seamless and unified customer journey

  • Analyze Audible customer journeys on Amazon web and app platforms

  • Engage with analytical tools and BI colleagues to dive deep on customer behavior, preferences, and pain points

  • Measure the performance of product launches, identifying successes and areas for improvement, and drive a continuous feedback loop between Product and Marketing teams

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercially-focused digital, retail, or ecommerce optimization role, working across web and apps

  • Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and application to inform CRO strategies

  • Experience applying CRO concepts, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, statistical significance, personalization, social proof and creative web design

  • Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g. Adobe Target or Optimizely), Content Management Systems, and web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working cross-functionally with different audiences within an organization

  • Excellent communication and presenting skills

  • Ability to work and influence across different functions and tailor messages for different audiences

  • Experience in working with subscription businesses

  • Experience working in a global organization with teams dispersed across different geographies

  • Post-graduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
