Description

As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in maintaining network stability, managing hardware resources, and providing technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, experience with Google Workspace and ERP systems, proficiency in hardware management, familiarity with ticketing systems, and knowledge of SQL databases.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain our networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  2. Administer Google Workspace services, including Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Meet.

  3. Provide support for our ERP system, ensuring its smooth operation and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

  4. Manage hardware resources such as servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

  5. Monitor and manage our ticketing system, responding to user requests and incidents in a timely manner.

  6. Maintain and optimize our SQL databases, including database administration, performance tuning, and backup/recovery procedures.

  7. Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technologies and systems as needed.

  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our IT infrastructure and processes.

    Requirements

  9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  10. Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.

  11. Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).

  12. Experience with Google Workspace administration and services.

  13. Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably [insert specific ERP system if applicable].

  14. Proficiency in hardware management, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  15. Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and ITIL practices.

  16. Solid understanding of SQL databases and experience with database administration tasks.

  17. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  18. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
