Overview of the Department/Section

Paris HR department develops and executes the HR strategy for MUFG Bank, Paris branch and MUFG Securities Europe N.V., Paris branch, as well as providing a fully integrated, comprehensive HR service.

The department counts 2 HRBPs, 1 Payroll Manager and 1 HR Generalist, and is led by Paris Head of HR.

Main Purpose of the Role

As a member of the HR Department, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the full recruitment life-cycle for both Bank and Securities entities in Paris, including sourcing, identifying and recruiting new, replacement, temporary and permanent staff, as well as onboarding contingent staff. She/He will also contribute to some communications actions, whether externally in order to foster our Employer brand or internally (general HR communications, D&I and other engagement actions).

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of recruitment projects in partnership with the Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners through maintenance of internal and compliance policies, labour legislation and processes

  • Work with hiring managers to understand and define job competencies and recruiting requirements for all open positions, establish job descriptions and ensure their internal and external posting

  • Manage all recruitments as a project, schedule the regular meetings with the hiring manager and the HRBP in order to follow-up and re-adjust, when necessary, monitor the timeline and complete recruitments in a timely manner

  • Ensure the monitoring of applications, arrange interviews and monitor the delivery of feedback and completion of ABC mandatory questionnaires

  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process, ensuring a positive candidate experience

  • Manage all aspects of therecruitment process (sourcing and qualifying candidates, salary negotiation with the support of the HRBPs, reference checks, onboarding, etc.) using our online applicant tracking system (WORKDAY), edit employment contracts via Docusign and track completion of electronic signature

  • Monitor developments in our Workday recruitment system and collaborate with HRIS on its improvement

  • Ensure the onboarding of staff in partnership with managers, IT, General Affairs colleagues, ensuring the recording in Workday and Jump systems

  • Manage updates of records in Workday (in case of change in the profile)

  • Propose and contribute to external communications actions (with schools, potential candidates, any relevant partnership)

  • Support the implementation of culture, talent, projects and initiatives in Paris, working closely with the regional HR teams

  • Manage some internal communications actions for both local branches

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the HR dpt of an international company, or with a recruitment agency

  • Experience in a global/international financial services organization is a plus.

  • Operational knowledge of HR Management systems preferably Workday

  • Fluent in English, French is a plus.

Education / Qualifications:

MANAGING CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

  • The role holder will perform his/her duties for MUFG Bank, Paris branch but may have to perform tasks for other entities from the Group.

  • The role holder will be required to perform their duties and responsibilities on an entity neutral basis, without favour.

  • The role holder is required to follow regulatory requirements applicable to ensure each business is appropriately supported and to maintain the legal entity integrity of each of MUFG Bank and MUS.

  • The role holder will have responsibility for identifying and resolving where there may be a difference or conflict in needs between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities, escalating to their manager where required.
