NEW SOFTWARE ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEXT-GEN ROBOTIC GROUND VEHICLES FOR A TOP AEROSPACE & DEFENSE COMPANY!!!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Position is helping the ARMY to build out various Robotic and Autonomous Vehicle Systems for military ground vehicles

• Develop software for military ground vehicle platforms utilizing C++

• Fine tune develop and tweak robotic technology kernal to current and future specifications

• Work with government customer and internal personnel to develop code and identify areas of opportunity to optimize communication throughout the full vehicle system

• daily stand ups, short term planning

• agile framework broken down into two week sprints

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have:

• C++

• Object oriented programming

• Linux

Nice to have:

• Microcontroller/ middleware development

• QT experience (making sure that the GUI is coded correctly not creating GUI, and middleware is functional)

• Familiarity with CAN tools

• Agile Software development experience.
