Job Description

Location: Warsaw

Contract: Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Leverage analytical tools to evaluate complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to minimize risks and optimize back-office operations.

  • Loss Prevention and Risk mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate operational risks and fraud with an intent to reduce financial losses. Regularly conduct audits and reviews of transactions and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives aimed at process enhancement, utilizing methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean to enhance productivity and efficiency in operations. Monitor the effectiveness of new processes and make adjustments as needed.

  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on the status of operations, highlighting areas for improvement and tracking progress on ongoing projects.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams (e.g. IT, finance, and customer service departments) to streamline operations and implement best practices across the board.

  • Project Management: Lead and participate in projects that span across multiple departments, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget.

  • Participates in the modification of existing applications or development of new applications.

  • Acts as a liaison and technical resource between management, staff and information systems to define and communicate standards of operational policy, plans, customer service or financial/performance reporting.

  • Ensures all documentation and requests comply with established policies and procedures.

  • Maintains applicable systems to monitor and track projects, plans and/or data; provides reports to management as needed.

  • Writes test plans and performs tests of new systems and modifications to existing systems.

  • Develops communication tools to ensure a high level of awareness of policies, plans, procedures or study/project results.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Six plus years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proven experience in data analysis, operations, finance, or a similar role, preferably within the payments or financial services industry.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and forecasting skills with ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating tangible improvements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively schedule meetings , set agenda and drive interaction with all levels of management and staff within the company.

  • Basic understanding of project management and testing methodology and procedures

  • Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

  • Nice to have: Know-how of analysis and BPMN process mapping and govern projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology: Gen AI implementation., Mapping processes, Power BI, DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
