IQVIA Monitoring and Observability Engineer in Warsaw, Poland

Our global enterprise monitoring team at IQVIA delivers comprehensive monitoring, observability, logging and IAOps services across out entire infrastructure. This includes managing servers (over 24,000), network components and public cloud environments on Azure and AWS.
We’re actively seeking an experienced professional to join our team. As part of your role, you’ll collaborate with infrastructure and application teams, ensuring their monitoring and observability needs are met using tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, and Datadog. Your contributions will be critical in maintaining and enhancing the operational health of our applications and infrastructure. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining our monitoring stack to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain monitoring solutions using Solarwinds, Splunk, Datadog
Create and manage dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights into system health, performance and operational efficiency
Help manage the event, incident and problem related issues using BigPanda and ServiceNow
Translate business requirements into technical solutions using best practices and standards
Conduct performance analysis, diagnose issues and provide solutions
Provide 2nd and 3rd level systems support
Required Skills:
Proven experience with key monitoring and observability tools like Solarwinds, Splunk, DataDog, Prometheus, OTel
Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS and Azure)
Proficiency in creating monitoring, managing dashboards, and setting up alerts in Solarwinds Orion, DataDog and Splunk
Solid background in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible)
Linux and Windows OS experience
Expert knowledge of network protocols and packet analysis tools
Strong communication skills
Experience with additional monitoring and observability tools is a plus.
